About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join our offshore remote development team. The selected candidate will work closely with and be supervised by a US-based Data Scientist, contributing to data science, AI, and advanced analytics initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with unstructured data and exposure to Digital Twin, Databricks, AI/ML implementations, or related use cases.

Key Responsibilities Junior Data Scientist

  • Work with structured and unstructured datasets to extract meaningful insights.
  • Develop, test, and implement data science and machine learning solutions.
  • Support AI/ML use cases involving commercial/business applications.
  • Work on Digital Twin-related projects, simulations, predictive analytics, or similar applications.
  • Assist in data preprocessing, feature engineering, model development, and data pipeline activities.
  • Work with Databricks and its AI/ML ecosystem where applicable.
  • Collaborate remotely with the US-based Data Scientist and development team.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical and data-driven solutions.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Document models, analysis, methodologies, and technical implementations.

Required Skills & Experience Junior Data Scientist

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in Data Science / Machine Learning / AI / Advanced Analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and commonly used data science libraries.
  • Experience handling and analyzing unstructured data.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts, statistical analysis, and data preprocessing.
  • Experience with Digital Twin concepts or projects will be highly valuable.
  • Exposure to Databricks AI/ML implementations is preferred.
  • Experience working on commercial/business use cases is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a US-based technical team.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote offshore environment.

Good to Have

  • Databricks / PySpark experience
  • Machine Learning / Deep Learning
  • NLP or other unstructured-data processing
  • Generative AI / LLM exposure
  • Digital Twin / IoT / Predictive Analytics
  • Azure, AWS, or GCP experience
  • Experience collaborating with international/US teams

Candidate Profile

  • Immediate joiner or available at very short notice
  • Comfortable working 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable communicating with US-based stakeholders
  • Interested in AI, Data Science, Digital Twin, and Databricks projects
