PCB Design Engineer / R & D Manager– LED Lighting Manufacturing

Company Overview

We are a growing LED lighting manufacturing company specializing in decorative and architectural lighting solutions. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional to strengthen our quality control and PCB design capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control (QC)

• Inspect incoming raw materials (LED chips, drivers, PCBs, housings)
• Perform in-process and final product quality checks
• Identify defects and implement corrective actions
• Maintain QC reports and documentation
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (BIS, CE, RoHS)
• Coordinate with production team to improve product quality

2. PCB Designing

• Design and develop PCB layouts for LED lighting products
• Work on driver circuits, SMPS basics, and LED modules
• Optimize PCB for thermal management and efficiency
• Generate Gerber files and coordinate with PCB vendors
• Troubleshoot circuit issues and improve designs

3. Electronics Manufacturing

• Oversee PCB assembly and soldering processes
• Test LED drivers, COBs, strip lights, and fixtures
• Work with production team for process improvement
• Ensure proper ESD and safety practices
• Support new product development
  Required Skills:
• Knowledge of LED lighting products (COB, drivers, panels, strips)
• Experience in PCB design software (Altium, Eagle, KiCad,AutoCAD etc.)
• Understanding of electronic components and circuits
• Knowledge of testing equipment (multi-meter, oscilloscope)
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes

Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience in LED or electronics manufacturing (preferred)
• Freshers with strong PCB design knowledge can also apply
