1. Mandatory Technical & Functional Skills (The Core)
- Technology Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel is essential. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks) is a must.
- Taxation & Compliance: Deep understanding of GST (registration, returns, reconciliation, audits) and Income Tax (TDS, ITR) is mandatory.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (AS) and Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills for drafting reports, client interaction, and team collaboration.
- Audit & Assurance: Expertise in statutory audits, internal audits, and documentation. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
